The Northampton County Board of Education has scheduled a public hearing for Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. regarding the possible closing of Willis Hare Elementary School. The June 16, 2022 public hearing will be held in-person at the Conway Middle School auditorium located at 400 E. Main St., Conway, NC 27820. The Board will convene the public hearing at 6:00 p.m.

On Monday, May 30, 2022, all schools and offices will be closed in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Friday, June 3, 2022 is the last day of school for Northampton County High School, Northampton County Early College, and scholars in grades 9-12 attending the Northampton Virtual Academy. Friday, June 10, 2022 is the last day of school for all Elementary and Middle schools, including scholars in grades K-8 attending the Northampton Virtual Academy. Have a happy and safe holiday weekend!

This is the state testing calendar for the remainder of the school year. Please make sure your scholar gets a good night's rest the night before each test. If your scholar needs extra preparation prior to the test, we encourage you to have them utilize the district's Tutor.com subscription. All scholars in grades 3 through 12 have access to this program through the Clever icon on the district website. One-on-one tutoring sessions are always available 24/7.
