Our Pre-K friends have been busy little builders!
This week, we explored 2D shapes by building them and counting their vertices and edges. Then we took it a step further and transformed those shapes into 3D creations—discovering how many vertices and edges they have in a whole new way!
They loved the challenge of building and learning through hands-on play. It’s amazing to watch their minds work and grow! 💡✨

There’s something so special about new life in our preschool.🐣💛

This week, our students had the sweetest experience watching our chicks hatch—and today was even more exciting as they got to gently hold them and help choose their names! The joy, curiosity, and care they showed was such a beautiful reminder of how meaningful these little moments are.

From tiny peeps to big smiles, our classroom is full of wonder right now. We are loving every second of these fluffy new friends! 🐥

Our Pre-K friends have been busy learning all about measurement! They are discovering that the size of the item used to measure matters, comparing different amounts, and working together with friends to solve problems and make observations. It is amazing to see math, teamwork, and curiosity growing together. With only 4 weeks of school left before they head off to kindergarten in August, we are so proud of how much they have grown and all they are learning! 🎓📏❤️

We had such a sweet experience learning from Wildflower Ridge Honey! 🍯🐝

Our little learners from the 2-year-old class all the way to Pre-K got to discover how bees make honey. It was a fun, hands-on way to explore nature, teamwork, and the amazing work of these tiny pollinators.

A big thank you for sharing your time and knowledge with us—we loved every minute! 💛

We’re so excited! 🐣 Ms. Kimberly, our amazing preschool assistant, brought in eggs from her very own Lavender Orpington flock! The eggs will incubate for 21 days, with an expected hatch week of April 20th.

Each week, our little learners will check in on the eggs, observe their progress, and discover how the chicks are developing step by step with reading. We can’t wait to watch this incredible journey unfold together! 💛

Today in Pre-K we went on a letter bear hunt! 🐻🔍

Inspired by the story We're Going on a Bear Hunt, our explorers searched high and low for uppercase and lowercase letters hidden around the room.

We can’t go over them, we can’t go under them… we have to find them!

Our little learners practiced letter identification, matching upper and lower case letters, and teamwork as they followed the trail. Learning is always an adventure in Pre-K! ✏️📚
