Meet Rodrick Bartley, Assistant Principal & Dean of Instruction at Robeson CTEC!
Bartley brings nine years of experience in education, including five years in school administration. His decision to pursue school leadership grew from a desire to make an impact beyond a single classroom by supporting teachers, building relationships with students and creating opportunities for success.
“For me, administration is not about the title—it is about the impact,” Bartley said.
At Robeson CTEC, Bartley is especially excited to see students discover their strengths and turn their interests and talents into opportunities. He believes the center provides students with more than academic credits by connecting their education directly to their futures.
“Here, students are not only earning credits—they are developing skills, earning industry-recognized credentials, exploring careers, and preparing for life after high school,” Bartley said.
His goal is for students to leave CTEC prepared professionally and strengthened personally.
“More than anything, when students leave CTEC, I want them to be able to say, ‘I am better prepared, more confident, and more capable because of my experience here,’” Bartley said.
For Bartley, Robeson CTEC represents an investment not only in students, but also in the future workforce and leadership of the community.
“Robeson CTEC represents opportunity and a pathway to a successful future,” he said. “It gives students the skills, credentials, and hands-on experiences they need to enter the workforce, continue their education, and ultimately become the skilled professionals and leaders who will help move Robeson County forward.”
