A NEW HOMESCHOOL COMMUNITY IS COMING THIS SEPTEMBER!

Earth Kids Academy is excited to partner with Statesboro Regional Library to bring homeschool families in Bulloch County and surrounding areas together for a K–12 homeschool community!

This is a place where homeschool students can meet other homeschool kids, make friends, learn through interactive activities, participate in group experiences, and enjoy the fun of being part of a school community while still learning at home.

Families will also be able to discover local homeschool programs, educational events, community activities, field trips, and opportunities to connect throughout the year.

And parents? You’ll have a place to meet other homeschool parents, share resources, exchange ideas, and build community, too.

K–12 homeschool families are welcome!

We’re getting ready for September, and we want YOU to be part of it.

📚🌎 Learning takes time—and learning something once does not always mean a child has mastered it.

Children develop their understanding through repetition, practice, questions, mistakes, feedback, and opportunities to apply what they have learned.

Our newest Parent Network article, Why Children Need Time to Process What They Learn, looks at how parents can support that process at home while still maintaining appropriate academic expectations.

✨ Give children time to think.
✨ Encourage them to explain their reasoning.
✨ Allow opportunities to practice and try again.
✨ Pay attention when a child consistently struggles.
✨ Seek additional support when it is needed.

As children grow, the type of support they need changes. Helping a young child process a new idea looks different from supporting a teenager who is learning to identify what they understand, where they need help, and what resources they can use.

🌱 The goal isn’t simply to help children get the right answer.

It’s to help them become capable learners.

We’re excited to welcome homeschool families from across our community for our Homeschool Co-op Meet & Greet in partnership with the Statesboro-Bulloch County Library!

Whether you’re currently homeschooling, considering homeschooling, or simply looking for local educational resources, we’d love to meet you.

Every attending family will receive a FREE Homeschool Resource Packet filled with practical tools for the upcoming school year, including attendance trackers, grade record templates, report card templates, planning resources, and more.

Earth Kids Academy Announces Our New Homeschool Co-op Partnership

We are excited to announce a new partnership between Earth Kids Academy and the Statesboro-Bulloch County Library to support homeschooling families throughout our community.

Whether you are beginning your homeschool journey or have years of experience, we invite you to join us for our Homeschool Co-op Meet & Greet.

This free community event is an opportunity to:

• Learn about our homeschool co-op structure and weekly schedule

• Connect with local homeschooling families

• Explore educational resources designed to support your student’s success

• Ask questions and discover opportunities for collaboration
