Today, we received a very special award in the mail from recognizing Pembroke Lakes Elementary for achieving 100% of our membership goal or MORE for 4 or more consecutive years! 🎉👏

This incredible recognition is a testament to the strength of our Pelican flock. Year after year, our families, teachers, staff, administrators, students, and community partners continue to come together with one shared goal: supporting our students and helping them soar! 💙

It truly goes to show that OUR FLOCK ALWAYS STICKS TOGETHER!

And this year is even more special because Pembroke Lakes Elementary is celebrating 50 YEARS OF ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE! 🎓✨

For five decades, PLE has been a place where students learn, grow, dream, and achieve. We are incredibly proud of our history and even more excited about our future.

Today we got to celebrate the incredible teachers, faculty, and staff who make Pembroke Lakes Elementary such a special place and gave them a warm welcome back.

They go a well-deserved Welcome Back Breakfast, made possible through the generosity of our amazing community partner, Kickfit Martial Arts . Thank you for supporting the educators who make a difference in the lives of our Pelicans each and every day!

What an amazing day at Pembroke Lakes Elementary! 💙🤍

Yesterday was a true example of what can happen when a community comes together. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who volunteered their time and energy during the Beautification Blitz. Together, we spread nearly 350 bags of mulch, refreshed the front of our campus, and helped make our school shine as we prepare to welcome our students back.

A heartfelt thank you to Rebecca Thompson BCPS Debbi Hixon Broward County School Board At Large Seat 9 James Knapp and the Broward Education Foundation, the Miramar Pembroke Pines Regional Chamber of Commerce our incredible high school volunteers; and our amazing PLE Staff & PTA volunteers. Your dedication, hard work, and generosity made today a tremendous success.

We are so thankful for Principal Ms. Del Sol and Assistant Principal Ms. Knapp for opening our campus and supporting this effort. It truly takes a village, and today our village showed up in the best way possible.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in making Pembroke Lakes Elementary look beautiful. We can’t wait to welcome our Pelicans back to an even brighter campus for our 50th year of excellence! 💙

What an incredible turnout for our Meet & Greet with our new principal, Ms. Del Sol! 💙

A huge thank you to all of our parents, families, and community members who came out to welcome the newest leader of our Pelican family. It was a wonderful opportunity to hear Ms. Del Sol share her vision for Pembroke Lakes Elementary, learn more about her, and participate in an engaging Q&A session.

To make the afternoon even sweeter, the Pembroke Lakes Elementary PTA treated all of our Pelicans in attendance to delicious Italian ice from Rosie’s! 🍧

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event such a success. We are excited for an amazing school year as we celebrate 50 Years of Excellence.
