The 2025-2026 PTA Board would like to take this time to shout out and honor Diana Lee Baptiste, your PTA President. Her volunteer work has spanned two kids, but this year was extra special marking her first as President. And might we say she's done a darn good job!

Diana is self-less, respectable, hardworking, strong, friendly, smart, thoughtful, and genuinely just an amazing person in spirit, beautiful inside and out. She is an exemplary example of a President who has led our little team to events and sponsorships that we previously haven't experienced before.

And I say she is strong because she will choose finishing the task at hand over taking a much needed break. Time and time again she has been a team player and offered multiple hours of behind the scenes support regarding PTA related rules and just making the dream a reality.

Thank you, Diana, for such an amazing year full of memories and sacrifice. We know you did it for the kids, the school and staff and the parents. We love you and you deserve all the recognition and flowers. 🫶👏🫰 Easties, hand claps and standing ovations, please.

A recap of our lovely week from Friday, 05/01/26 to 05/07/26. We started off strong with a PTA sponsored lunch from and teacher's lounge snacks donated by .

Monday lunch was also PTA sponsored from . Wednesday was dessert sponsored by . Thursday was another sweet treat of from the PTA.

Lastly, Friday kicked off testing so the PTA in conjunction with sponsored breakfast. soap and also delivered hand soaps since teachers like keep us in good hands year round.

As we approach the end of the school year, we are excited to celebrate our 5th graders as they prepare for their next big adventure! Every year, we reserve a special place in the yearbook for our graduating class, and we need your help to make it happen.

We are collecting one baby picture of every 5th grader to create a fun "guess who" page! This is a free feature, and all we need from you is a digital photo.

Creative Art Summer Camp by ! Register today for the summer! It's already March! ☀️🎨🖼👩‍🎨👨‍🎨

Our first ever PTA Movie Night at East campus! It was so fun and the weather was good. Familiar faces and the kids getting a chance to watch Moana2 or hang out with their friends and interact with vendors. Food trucks to alleviate what's for dinner. This is what PTA is all about. ❤️❤️

P.S. We won't have another Movie Night before the school year ends, but please consider joining the PTA either as a member, [occassional] volunteer, Board member or on a Committee to make events like this possible.

Next year's PTA may look different but we have enjoyed this school year and sewing these seeds for you. So please continue to water this flourishing growth and village. PTA just has the Father Daughter Dance and Mother's Day Brunch left on our activities list, but it's truly been an amazing year. Thank you.
