Our 1982 Miami Dade New World Center college team. A great collection of kids from Overtown,, little Havana and Miami Beach; representative of the diverse cultures of the great city of Miami They won our conference, but lost to a team of international players at Seminole CC, who won the NJCC title.

Our next Dance event, this Saturday in Boca.

We enjoyed another great Miami Open tournament, where many players overachieved and beat higher ranked players. There were many major breakthroughs in both the men's and women's fields. Jacob Mensik beat Novak and it was no fluke, also solidly beating Brit Jack Draper who handily won at Indian Wells. Miami was als Novaks breakthrough event.
As usual, we saw some great battles and took a lot of videos. The young guns are really having more success. The biggest technical change was more players serving with a both-up foot stance, undoubtedly following the success Jannik Sinner has had made, getting the higher MPH's of a big server. Credit goes to Darren Cahill his coach.
We will again make a short movie collage of serving styles and post it.

Spring Tennis School Graduates and Pickleball Courts Opening

Well the Tennis Circus has left Miami and moved on to the red clay of Spain and Italy but the memories of those great matches are still fresh.
