🌏✨ Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month at Protea Montessori! ✨🌏
This month, our classroom was filled with curiosity, creativity, and joy as we celebrated Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. We learned about the Philippines and Korea — not from a worksheet, but from cooking together, building together, and talking about the beautiful ways people around the world live and celebrate.
Our students built Jeepney models 🚌, helped make Pancit, painted beautiful cherry blossoms 🌸, and learned about the people, traditions, and stories that make each culture unique.
Through hands-on experiences, shared meals, art, and conversation, they learn not only about geography and culture, but also appreciation, respect, and connection.
We loved seeing their excitement, creativity, and joy throughout this journey.

In our elementary environment, multiplication isn't memorized — it's experienced. 🌸
