🌞 Summer Camp is coming to Pembina's Pop Up Market!!

Our young entrepreneurs are eager to show you their great creations.

Here's a little something they'll be selling:

♟️Board games- For kids, from kids!

🪴 Plants- In a self-watering planter!

🦖 Rare dinosaur sculptures- better be fast, there's only 3 left!!

🔫 Hand cut toys!!

👨‍🎨 Unique art from a local artist!!

🐋 Sea "pets" up for adoption!!

💖 Heart crayons, giving old crayons a new life!

Pembina, please come out and support their hard work! We'll be there 10am - 2pm Sat 25th!

🌞 Summer Camp Week 5 - Engineering

🛠🦺 Our awesome students dove right into constructing boats, race cars, parachutes, and bridges using simple materials found at home.

🥚 They used eggs as passengers to test the safety of their creations.

📝 Used their imaginations to create a "persona" for each of their eggs and their adventures.

🏁 And put each of their creations on competitions based on speed and survival!

🌞 Summer Camp Week 4 - Dinosaurs and Other Prehistoric Animals

🦖 Our awesome students constructed dinosaurs using aluminum foil, sticks, and paper mache.

📝 Learned, wrote, and recorded about their great beasts.

🌍 Created a visual time line to see when dinosaurs, smilodons, woolly mammoth, and other animals roamed Earth.

🌞 Super Summer Camp - Week 3 World Cup Food Edition

Happy 4th, USA!!! 🇺🇸

Our awesome students made their own BBQ sauce 🌭🍔

Wrote down what they would do if they were president 📝✍️

& made an amazing flag that was displayed during the town parade! 🇺🇸

🌞 Super Summer Camp - Week 3 World Cup Food Edition

Hola, España! 🇪🇸

Our awesome students reinforced their Spanish skills from earlier this week while learning about Spain. The kiddos learned how to use knives safely, season with their heart, and make a little sauce to make our rendition of Spain's Patatas Bravas 🥵
We kept the spicy level at a 0, so we're calling our dish Patatas Feliz! 😋

Camp resumes next Monday 1:30-4:30pm Mon- Fri for ages 4-12!

🌞 Super Summer Camp - Week 3 World Cup Food Edition

Bonjour, DR Congo! 🇨🇩

Our awesome students learned that Congo's official language is French. However, they also speak A LOT of different indigenous languages throughout their nation. The kiddos learned how to make a popular dessert called Mikate....and it might have been the winner of the week!!!! 10/10
