Today, some of our Exceptional Eagles at Oak Mountain High School had the opportunity to put their skills into action by hosting a tailgate to welcome OMHS’s newest teachers! 🦅💙

With the help of Mrs. Trice’s Event Planning students, our Life Skills students planned and prepared a welcoming celebration for our new staff members. Throughout the event, students practiced real-world skills including grocery shopping, food preparation, hosting, serving others, teamwork, and cleaning up.

We are SO proud of our Exceptional Eagles for working hard to make our new teachers feel at home. We loved getting to celebrate and welcome the newest members of the OMHS family! And way to go Ms. Autrey and Ms. Korson for your hard work and dedication to bring these opportunities to life for your student!! 💙🦅
