The end of an era… our department has worked very closely with both Dr. Wood and Mr. Vines.

Most recently, Dr. Wood was instrumental in supporting new special ed teachers by helping assist in the development of our special education instructional coach position. That is just one of so many ways this lady has supported staff and students within our department in Shelby County. We love you, Dr. Wood.

Mr. Vines has been the coordinator of our special transportation for years. He has been incredibly present and attentive to the needs of students all over our county. It has always been clear that access and safety has always been his priority for our students. We are incredibly grateful for your service and teamwork, Mr. Vines!

We love these two so much and wish them the best in their next chapters. 💙
