Starting Monday, August 17, we would like ALL students and staff to help our kindergarten students celebrate "Color Days" by wearing the color of the day. This is a fun learning opportunity for our kindergartners and to have the entire school support and celebrate would make it so exciting for them!

Let’s COLOR the RIDGE!

From a FANTASTIC Meet the Teacher for PreK to 5th grade to an AMAZING first day of school, being a RIDGE kid is AWESOME!

Students navigated carpet time, Specials, switching classes, and lunch lines! There were read alouds, creative writing, and Math manipulatives. They ran, skipped, jumped, and some times walked (we’re working on that😉).

And the GREATEST thing of ALL is we saw more SMILES than tears (by the end it was only tired tears). We can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow!

And, we are SO EXCITED to welcome our students back today! Below are some reminders to help navigate the day:

🐾Give yourself and others GRACE. The phones may be answered slower than normal. This is the first time for the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL in 2026. We’re here, I promise. Leave a message and we will return your call.

🐾Give yourself and others GRACE. Emails will be answered during times when we are NOT with students. This is their FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. They deserve ALL of our attention (well, this is actually a daily thing☺️).

We are SO CLOSE to being back together again! As we gear up for a great new school year, we want to share a few important reminders and upcoming dates to mark on your calendar:

Also, please be mindful of the businesses surrounding the school when parking. These are private businesses and are not shared parking lots with Pelham Ridge. Please help us maintain good rapport with our neighbors.
