We're heading into the weekend with our buddy Danny Chasse who just got his unrestricted CDL-A. He showed up to each session focused & eager to learn. On test day he knocked it out of the park passing on his 1st attempt and driving away with a brand new CDL! 🅰️🚦🎯

Attention New Hampshire CDL drivers! Effective Monday, August 17, the NH DMV will no longer accept paper Medical Examiner’s Certificates (medical cards) from CDL drivers.

CDL medical certification information must be transmitted electronically from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to the NH DMV. This electronic process is part of FMCSA’s National Registry II requirements.

FMCSA currently recommends that medical examiners continue providing drivers with paper copies while also submitting examination results electronically.

We're heading into the weekend with some tractor trailer knowledge for you 👨🏻‍🏫📚

Those smooth covers over the wheels are for aerodynamics. They help reduce air turbulence around the spinning wheels, ever so slightly reducing drag and improving fuel efficiency. A tiny savings on one trip can add up to a lot of fuel across a large fleet traveling millions of miles. ⛽💸

Those black fuzzy bristles above the tires are spray-suppression brushes. They help knock down the road spray thrown from the tires in wet weather. This improves visibility for vehicles traveling alongside and behind the truck & keeps the truck itself a bit cleaner. 💦🌧️
