Summer's is winding down; Labor Day is
around the corner and yes, the kids are going back to school!!!

Last year proved to be challenging for many students, especially those with learning and/or attention issues. Some students lost some ground academically as a result.

We need to be proactive and meet our kids where they are right now. We need to provide them with all the tools and learning support we can, so they so they can successfully progress and grow academically and socially this year.

Reach out to your child's teachers and let them know your thoughts and concerns for the school year. Your teachers will appreciate your reaching out and the kids will truly benefit.

One quick tip: READ every day with your kids - even for just 15-20 minutes. They will see how important reading is to the family and want to participate! Reading time = quality family time!
