Charlie Taraboletti shared these pictures with us. What a cool part of our local Judo history!

1st picture is our own Coach George Weers and Charlie at Saturday morning practice at the Canton Y circa 1967.

2nd picture - George and Charlie both started learning Judo at the Old YMCA located on Main and Walnut northeast corner. Dan Johnson was the Judo instructor. He also taught psych at Canton Community College.

Thank you, Charlie, for sharing! We're proud to continue bringing Judo to the community!
