Memorial Day is more than a long weekend—it’s a day to pause, reflect, and remember the ultimate sacrifices made by our nation’s heroes. From soldiers who fell in battle to Veterans who carried their service with pride until their final days, their legacies live on in the freedoms we enjoy today.

Congratulations to our first year apprentice Jaydin Cotton from Carpenters Local 243 for the craftsmanship and detail shown on his Floorcovering General Knowledge project. Today his hard work was recognized by INSTALL!

We would like recognize a major accomplishment for these 6 individuals!

These apprentices have officially completed their final classes and are now new journeymen of the Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council — including 4 Carpenters and 2 Millwrights.

Years of early mornings, long days, classroom instruction, on-the-job training, and dedication led to this moment. They’ve put in the work, developed their skills, and earned the title of Journeyman.

We’re proud of what each of them has accomplished and excited to see the impact they’ll continue to make in the trade and throughout our industry. Congratulations, brothers — your hard work paid off.
