Want to learn more about the upcoming vote on the Illinois County Schools Facility Tax (or 1% Sales Tax)? Check out the meeting tonight at 6:30 in the Pekin Community High School Theater!
https://www.facebook.com/events/1068579846070301

Local school leaders will answer questions from community members, as well as share a presentation about how this sales tax operates, including:

-What would be taxed
-What would be exempt
-What the tax can be used for, by law
-How non-residents would contribute significantly to this tax
-How revenue is distributed and controlled locally

You can also check out the referendum website for more information at www.tazewellforstudents.com

Here are some ways that this could impact Starke School and our students.

Tonight is the night! Hope to see everyone at Starkeapalooza!
