For 251 years, the United States Navy has stood watch-defending our nation, protecting our freedoms, and serving with courage, honor, and unwavering commitment across the seas and around the world.

Today, we salute the generations of Sailors who answered the call to serve. We honor those currently standing the watch, those who served before them, and those whose sacrifice will forever be woven into the proud history of the United States Navy.

To every Sailor-past and present-and to the families who have supported them through deployments, separations, homecomings, and countless sacrifices: thank you for your service and dedication to our nation.

Indigenous Peoples' Day celebrates the resilience, wisdom, and heritage of the First Nations.

Today, we celebrate the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and contributions of Indigenous people throughout history. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is proud to celebrate the diversity that comprises our Sisterhood, and we honor the beautiful legacy of our indigenous brothers and sisters.

Sorors, let's use this day as an opportunity to educate ourselves, engage in meaningful conversations, and stand in solidarity with Indigenous people. Together, we can foster a more inclusive and equitable future for all.

Walking for Awareness, Walking for Hope!

On Sunday, October 4, 2026, the Sorors of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Nu Psi Zeta Chapter came together at FDR State Park in Yorktown Heights, NY, to support those impacted by breast and ovarian cancer.

We walked in honor of the courageous fighters, in celebration of the strength and resilience of survivors, and in loving memory of those whose lives and legacies will forever remain in our hearts. 💗🤍

Every step represents hope. Every ribbon represents awareness. Every voice matters in the fight against cancer.

Together, we stand in Sisterhood, Service, and Solidarity as we continue to raise awareness, uplift survivors, and honor the memories of our loved ones.

Mental Health is not a sign of weakness, but a testament to our strength and resilience. World Mental Health Day is our way of recognizing and understanding that caring for our mental health and emotional well-being is just as crucial as our physical health.
Today, be intentional about checking on your loved ones - including your friends.

There's not a certain 'look' - Just be kind. Encourage open conversations. Lend a listening ear, offer a hug or give someone a word of support, as they may be struggling in silence.

As we all know, bullying is a major problem. It has no boundaries - mentally, physically or geographically! No matter your experiences, we all know someone that has either been bullied or been the victim of a bully - or maybe you were the bully...

How can we fix it, if we don't address it? Prevention starts with us!

Today, we are seeing more with words wielded as weapons for defamation, online trolling, and even different forms of manipulative bullying through hazing.


This goes beyond school-aged children. It's on a collegiate level, in the workplace, in the church, your local women's group, or it could be amongst your group of friends.

Bullying remains largely understated and unaddressed.
Turning a blind eye only fortifies a woman's self-censorship and erodes their self-esteem. We must do better. It's our responsibility.

So today, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. invites you to wear your orange, and join us in rallying for and addressing bullying to draw attention to this issue within your own communities.

With and being at the heart of all that she does, we want to take a moment to celebrate Dr. Stacie NC Grant, our 26th International President of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., as she enjoys her birthday today.

Dr. Grant's provision in the realm of education, maternal health advocacy, social justice and equality has been marked by a relentless dedication to improving the well-being of women. Her initiatives to The Extraordinary Power of S.H.E. - an opportunity for Zetas worldwide to be intentional about Social, Health and Economic justice for women at home and abroad, have empowered communities with essential knowledge, resources and connections that are breaking barriers and creating a more inclusive and equitable society for those impacted by the work of Zeta.

As a preeminent advocate for change, Dr. Grant and her legacy will undoubtedly continue to inspire and drive progress within our sisterhood.

Did you know? Nearly 300,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, and 1 in 8 women in America will face it in their lifetime. While progress has been made, awareness alone isn't enough.

For black and brown communities especially, the fight is even harder - resources and research haven't always represented us. But Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is working to change that.
