Mark your calendars...Jumpstarts are coming next month! These sessions give students and families the opportunity to meet teachers, drop off supplies and become familiar with the school before the academic year begins in September.

Good afternoon, Peekskill,

We would like to inform you that the Peekskill Police Department will be conducting a multi-agency training session, in collaboration with the Peekskill Fire Department and Peekskill City School District, tomorrow, July15, 2026, in the vicinity of Washington Street. This training is essential to ensure that the cities first responders have the necessary skills for a proper response in various situations. It also provides an opportunity for local officers who do not regularly work together to train as a team.

We understand that the presence of law enforcement activities may cause concern among residents. We want to assure you that this training is a routine part of our efforts to maintain a high level of readiness and professionalism within our department. We kindly request that residents refrain from approaching the training area during these sessions.

This information is being shared with you to promote transparency and keep you informed about current events within our community.
