A Spirit World Celebration
Before Bloodline of the Land premieres at the Hudson Valley Paramount on November 6, 2026, Daisy Jopling and Indigenous Enterprise, LLC will present a show about healing between George Washington, Richard Simcoe, and Daniel Nimham, the last great Sachem of the Wappinger people. We are absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to tell this amazing story, especially through the words of the renowned Native American musician and historian Evan T. Pritchard!
Author of Native New Yorker and No Word for Time, Evan T. Pritchard is one of the most respected educators of Indigenous culture, particularly his own Algonquin nation. He was also a professor of Native American studies at Marist University, Vassar College, and Pace University. An eternal student himself, Evan found himself sitting with an elder from the Munsee Tribe who shared ancient tribal melodies before his death. Inspiration from those melodies will be woven throughout this upcoming show as a tribute to the true Native New Yorkers.
We are so excited to continue our collaboration with Indigenous Enterprise! This international phenomenon is known for their electric energy and authentic representation of their culture. The collective is made up of young Native American World Champion Pow Wow dancers, musicians, and filmmakers dedicated to preserving and presenting their cultural arts. We are so proud to be welcomed in by them in their mission to spread the beauty of Indigenous music, dance, and storytelling.
