It’s cool in our studio and the Hat Factory is a COOL stop. Our friends at Retake Remake will be open AND have an awesome maker’s market and the Hudson Milk Market has locavore goods for your munching pleasure. We are excited for open studio weekend! Peekskill will be buzzing with artists and visitors. Restaurants will be open and out at The Hat Factory we have a bunch of activities. Retake Remake has a maker’s market and Hudson Milk has all sorts of locavore goods. Artist Caren Raphael will be open too. Come on over. 12-5 Saturday and Sunday.

I’m honored today to make a presentation about Stanley Rosen. Stanley was an extraordinary individual, artist, mentor, and friend. Loved by his family and his students, he brought a unique perspective and sense of touch to everything. His long life serves as a lesson in graciousness, artistic, authenticity, and humility for us all. If you’re at NCECA, come to the Past Masters presentation at 1 PM today. If you miss it, it will be playing throughout the conference and will eventually be released on YouTube. You will not regret learning about the work of this amazing human.
