Located in the heart of New York's Hudson Valley and a short train ride from New York City, the Peekskill Clay Studios is fast becoming one of the region's premier clay art facilities. With studio space available for experienced artists and a growing educational program, the PCS is designed to accommodate all levels of ceramic artists from beginner to expert. Visiting the Garrison Art Center craft show. Still a few hours left to head over yourself! Some wonderful clay artists on view including works by our members Emily Bicht, pictured here in her booth and Francine Kadish with work in the GAC tent. Many others as well. Lovely riverside venue with views, music and high quality hand made items of all sorts. Go support some artists and have yourself a blast.

I’m honored today to make a presentation about Stanley Rosen. Stanley was an extraordinary individual, artist, mentor, and friend. Loved by his family and his students, he brought a unique perspective and sense of touch to everything. His long life serves as a lesson in graciousness, artistic, authenticity, and humility for us all. If you’re at NCECA, come to the Past Masters presentation at 1 PM today. If you miss it, it will be playing throughout the conference and will eventually be released on YouTube. You will not regret learning about the work of this amazing human.
