--PLUMBING APPRENTICE POSITION--

Superior Plumbing & Gas is a family owned & operated company with an immediate opening for a plumbing apprentice. We are offering a career track that will provide on the job training and mentoring with a view towards developing the skills needed to eventually become a highly qualified lead technician. Salary is competitive.

The successful candidate will be a solid team member who is on time, has a strong work ethic, is an extremely clean worker, and has a sense of professionalism. The candidate must also have a mechanical mind, good people skills, be looking for long term employment, and a career in plumbing.

Basic duties would include:
-getting to work early
-safely driving a service van
-carrying heavy tools and supplies
-keeping the van, and job sites in pristine condition
-being prompt, clean and organized
-having a strong focus and intensity throughout the day
-being open to instruction and training - ready to implement newly learned skills
-maintaining a positive attitude even when a job is frustrating or a customer unreasonable.

The motto at Superior Plumbing is, “Clean Plumbing Done Right”. We take pride in the way we treat our customers and their property and want to ensure that they are completely satisfied every time. We’re looking for a team member who will share our commitment to high quality service, extreme attention to detail and cleanliness, and who will in time become a ‘Top Tier’ service technician as a result. We are committing to invest years in helping this apprentice succeed and are looking for an individual who in turn is ready to commit long term to our company.

We are so excited to welcome everyone back in just 14 days for what we feel will be our best year yet!

In order to reduce confusion, we thought we’d answer some of our most frequently asked questions.

Q: What day do fine arts classes begin?
A: Monday, August 23

Q: What day do academic classes begin?
A: Tuesday, August 24 (Academics will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays this year.)

Q: I’m unsure about enrolling my student in a particular fine arts class. Can they try it out?
A: Absolutely! All students are welcome to try one class session for any fine arts class for free.

Q: Is registration still open for the new season?
A: Yes! There is still time to register. Some classes are already full or have waitlists so registering ASAP is advised. It also helps our instructors better prepare for your student(s) by making sure we format performances correctly and order an adequate amount of supplies so we are ready for you on day one. It also lets us know ahead of time if we need to offer more classes. Once the year begins, it is often too late to do so.

Q: The class my student wants to take is full. What can I do?
A: Please add them to the waitlist. Things change up until the last minute and there are often spots that open up a few weeks into the year as families realize that they may need to cut back on extracurricular activities. We monitor waitlists continually, and if the demand is large enough, we may offer another class to better serve more families.
