What's Going On Wednesday! 🎞️🎬️

Our KPTV students have been hard at work! Last semester KPTV produced 6 shows, and this semester they are working to produce a show weekly.

Students have been working hard on sound, topics, interviews, presentation, etc. Nearly each pair of students is producing a 2 to 5 minute feature, and more than half are active participants in the filming of the show process!'

This is a student led production. We aim to capture every student throughout the year! We try to select topics of interest to a majority of the student body. If you have any suggestions, please stop in any time!

On Monday, our Varsity Golf Team competed at Creekmoor Golf Course and finished in 6th place as a team. We were led by Ethan Priest who finished T3 as an individual with an impressive score of 78 in challenging conditions.

Our JV Golf Team competed at WinterStone Golf Course and were led by Brody Samson, who finished in T6 as an individual. Our team finished in 8th place.

Great job, guys!

A HUGE win for our student senate on this beautiful Friday. RPHS Student Senate was a gold-level recipient for Missouri Honor Council! This is the highest honor awarded in the state for student councils. Our student senate members submitted an application highlighting the service and work they do in the school and community to earn this recognition. Congratulations, Student Senate!!

The Ray-Pec Speech and Debate team had an outstanding showing last weekend at our NSDA Show Me District Competition. The results were as follows:

Duo Interpretation
6th—Lily Seeley and Blake Raymond
4th—Kaedyn Blede and Evan Thomson (1st Alternate)
2nd—Aurora Lautzenhiser and Vanessa Diaz (National Qualifier)
1st—Eli Showen and Amari Russell (National Qualifier)

Humorous Interpretation
5th—Evan Thomson (1st Alternate)
4th—Rose Sykes (National Qualifier)
2nd—Eli Showen (National qualifier representing Show-Me in Duo)

Raymore-Peculiar High School is officially approved to launch an Army JROTC program, starting April 1, 2027! 🎉

This nationally recognized program is all about leadership, citizenship, character, and service—not recruiting. Students will gain confidence, teamwork skills, and leadership experience that can take them anywhere after high school. 💪✨

This is another amazing way Ray-Pec students can explore their strengths and grow as leaders. Facility updates for the program are part of the Prop RP bond election on April 7. You can learn more at www.raypec.org/proprp2026
