Dear Friends, In its first two years, the Workman Memorial Scholarship has given $5,000 to deserving graduates of PHS. This fall alone, it will provide another $4,000-$5,000 as we award two new graduates and continue to support recipients maintaining a high GPA at their colleges or universities. In order to sustain the scholarship, which is so important to our family, we will need the help of our friends, family, and Dad's former students. We held a wonderful fundraiser last year in Pecos but know that many of you no longer live there in order to take part. So I (Lindley) have a request of you. First, the easy one, please "like" or share this post on your own FB page to ensure that as many PHS alumni as possible might see it. And second, if you would like to receive note once each year with information on how to donate directly to the scholarship fund at Reeves County Teachers Credit Union, please privately message this fan page with your name, mailing address, and email address. You can also email [email protected] with that information. Your contact information will NEVER be shared with anyone, and you would receive only one reminder per year (I'm thinking around March 1 as that's just before Dad's birthday). So many of you have shared your wonderful memories of Brother Workman. We want to maintain that legacy as long as we can. Again, please like or share this post. And if you wish, privately message your address to me here. If you have friends or family not on Facebook that might also wish to be included, please let us know. We'll begin our annual mailing next March. Many thanks, The Workman Family
