The beginning of a lifelong love of learning Preschool children are creative and receptive.

It is the philosophy of Little Explorers Preschool that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploration, and discovery. We will strive to nurture and encourage these qualities in the children who attend and expand your child’s understanding and appreciation for the world around them. Our purpose is to provide an atmosphere that encourages social, emotional, spiritual, physic

al, and intellectual growth and development of your child as a whole. Planned with the framework of philosophy and purpose, Little Explorers' curriculum includes sharing and conversation time; stories, poems, prayers, songs and finger plays; creative art activities; games and large muscle activities; cooking experiences; science and nature activities; field trips; exposure to shapes, colors, numbers, and letters. Our activities stress the importance of hands-on learning techniques that help build self-confidence and encourage children to explore the world around them in new ways, which provides children with the springboard they need for a successful transition into kindergarten.

Some of our Pre-K class and their siblings brought Christmas cheer and smiles to residents at the Gino Merli Center today. We are so proud of these kiddos, and so very grateful to their families who took time out of their busy mornings to join us.

Today our Little Explorers celebrated Thanksgiving Charlie Brown style with bread, popcorn, pretzel sticks and jelly beans. The food was great, but these friendships are the BEST!!!

Thank you to the Blakely Police Department for taking time out of their schedules and visiting our Pre-K class today. Our Little Explorers loved the visit and learned so much about safety and a police officer’s job from these real life Super Heroes.

It was an Exciting day for our Pre-K class:
We’re sending a big Thank You to Mr. Bruce from Pennsylvania Ambulance who talked to our class about his job as a paramedic and gave our Little Explorers a tour of his ambulance. So much exploring and learning happening at Little Explorers!

Tonight, our Compassionate, Silly, Kind, Empathetic, Energetic, Loving, Creative, Imaginative, Hard-Working, AMAZING Little Explorers graduated.
It has been an HONOR and we are so PROUD of these kiddos, who are off to explore and make the world a better place!
