We would like to say thank you to everyone who came out and volunteered in the Miracle of Life Barn this week! The week wouldn’t be such a success without you!

This year we had 13 calves, 10 piglets, and 4 kids(baby goats) born in the barn.

Miracle of Life Barn clean up starts at 10 am tomorrow morning. Many hands make light work.

Calf number 11 was born at 4:39 yesterday. His name is ‘Salt’. We also had a heifer calf born at 2:30 this morning, her name is ‘Butter’(not pictured). We also thought we’d share some of the personalities that come out in our animals throughout the week.

After yesterdays calm day, some of our mommas decided it’s time to show off their newborns to the rest of this weeks Miracle of life barn visitors.
We had 2 heifers(girl calves) born this morning; Peanut arrive at 5:45, and Popcorn arrived at 9:00 am. Also our Sow, Nina, had her first litter of 10 piglets last night into the early morning hours.

Today we have 5 prospect, 10 lambs, 1 goat, 12 hogs, and 4 turkeys available in the Sanilac Fair Sale by our Sanilac FFA students! We are so proud of all of the hard work they have put into these animals throughout the summer and this special week.

We thought we’d share this beautiful
night picture of the barn since we didn’t have any updates today. All the ladies in the barn decided to have a relaxing day, allowing our volunteers to relax, and interact a little more with our visitors.

Pepper decided we needed to end the night with a bang and made his appearance at 9:39 tonight. That make calf number 6 born in the barn this week.
