Fannindel Falcon Force marched in the Fannin County Fair Parade Monday evening. This is the 5th year in a row of representing Fannindel ISD in our County Seat Fair Parade. Ricky Beeler, Falcon Force Director walked in front of the students pulling a wagon with a speaker inside of it that played the Fight Song, as well as other spirit songs while the Varsity Cheerleaders and Pom Squad did routines while marching beside our Drumline who was carrying either a banner or an American flag, in support of this years Parade theme of “Stars, Stripes and County Fair Nights,” in tribute to America’s 250th Birthday. Coach Beeler stated, “I could not be more proud of our students and how well they represented FISD again this year. I received a lot of compliments from people who were there to enjoy the parade as well as an email from Samantha Lumpkins, Fannin County Bonham Chamber of Commerce Parade Director, who described our group’s performance as outstanding and hopes we will consider coming back to their Christmas parade the first Friday of December.”
After the parade, we took the students to Pizza Hut for their annual post parade supper! “I am very grateful to both of my Co-Falcon Force Directors, Amber Page and Marci Miller for all of their hard work this season as well. It is a team effort, as our group membership is up to 29 members this year, which is amazing!”
