Something to celebrate! The Remarkable Stevenson Campaign is officially complete, and we couldn't be more proud. Thanks to the generosity of more than 2,500 donors, Stevenson raised $75 million, making this the largest campaign in school history.

The result: two stunning new facilities now open on our Pebble Beach campus, nine new endowed scholarships, and a financial aid endowment that nearly doubled its goal.

This is what our community looks like when it comes together. Thank you!

Stevenson School has closed out the largest fundraising campaign in its history, bringing in $75 million — well past its original $60 million goal — to build new academic facilities, grow financial aid, and support students on its Carmel and Pebble Beach campuses.

One of the things that makes the Stevenson experience so special is our location. With beautiful beaches, coastal trails and charming towns, students have an incredible backyard just beyond campus.

“Sometimes I do my homework, read or just go on a run with my friends. During volleyball season, we had a beach practice which was super fun!”

“I like its unique combination of fun, good food and nature. I can enjoy the sunset while having fun at the putting course and drinking horchata with my friends.”

🌴 17-Mile Drive & Lone Cypress
“The view from Lone Cypress is beautiful no matter the weather. I go there to relax and take my mind off things.”

“Having access to a beach within a 15-minute walk is amazing. I bring my speaker and a friend and walk down to chase the sunset.”

“Lots of food to eat, a beautiful beach, cute boutiques to shop in and a good place to hang out with friends.”

“There’s so much good food on Alvarado Street and it’s super close to the beach. I like to eat, walk around and go thrifting.”

🎉 Welcome back, Pirates! 🏴‍☠️

The first groups of students arrived on campus over the weekend, kicking off the new school year with our student leaders and Pirate athletes leading the way! After a day of moving into the dorms and settling into their new homes, students gathered for a festive BBQ dinner filled with lawn games, laughter and plenty of time to reconnect.

Here’s to new beginnings, new adventures and an incredible year ahead! 💚

🌎X-Term 2026✨

Stevenson’s X-Term program gives students the opportunity to explore new places, ideas and passions through immersive learning experiences. Check out one of the many experiences from X-Term 2026 – Exploring the Depths: Canyoneering and Indigenous History in Zion National Park. Exploring up the Depths took Stevenson students deep into Zion’s spectacular slot canyons, where they learned canyoneering, challenged themselves and discovered the power of teamwork, trust and perseverance.

Beyond the canyon walls, students explored Indigenous histories and enduring connections to the land through conversation, reflection and place-based learning. An unforgettable adventure filled with discovery, challenge and inspiration. 🌄✨

Right in the center of our campus is something most schools don't have: our very own FM radio station. 🎙️

Through our Radio & Media Arts program — Introductory and Advanced Radio & Media — students train in on-air skills and digital production, then get to host and DJ their own shows on KSPB 91.9 FM, one of the largest student-run radio stations west of the Mississippi.

30+ years. Thousands of miles. Countless blisters. Infinite stories. 🥾🏕️✨

For more than 3 decades, Stevenson sophomores have traded Wi-Fi for wilderness, alarms for sunrises, and comfort zones for mountain trails during one of our most beloved traditions: EXPO.

What begins as a 10-day backpacking trip through the mountains of Central California quickly becomes so much more. Students discover they can carry more than a backpack - they can carry one another through challenges, lead when it matters most, solve problems together, and find confidence they didn't know they had.

It's why, years later, alumni still talk about EXPO. Not because of the miles they hiked, but because of the people they became along the way.

X-Term 2026: This year's Footsteps of Enlightenment X-Term took students along the historic Camino de Santiago, beginning in the town of Sarria.

Walking 15-20 kilometers a day through cobblestone towns and quiet Spanish countryside, students explored history, practiced environmental awareness and made space for personal reflection. Along the way, they forged lasting connections with one another and with a tradition that has shaped this region for centuries.

The journey culminated in Santiago de Compostela, where the group celebrated their accomplishment and reflected on the road that brought them there.
