It’s a great day to be a Greyhound. On Tuesday Varsity went on the road and came away with a 10-9 victory over Glen Rose to move to 1-0 in district. Hounds are back in action tomorrow in a non district match against Brewer.

It is not everyday our XC runners get to run with a baton in hand! We are proud of the effort from our Hounds and Lady Hounds this morning at the Poolville Relays!

Our boys took the top 2 spots, with Cole Bettger & Steven Hinshaw as the 1st place team and Landon Scheffler and Hudson Dipprey bringing in 2nd place. Out of 15 - 2 person teams our remaining boys teams placed 6th (Case Cato and Isaac Sanchez) and 7th place (Bryson Buller and Tell Zylman).

Our top girls team, Ella Persky & Addalynn Bourland, placed 2nd. There were a total of 15 two person teams competing and our next 3 teams placed 5th (Ivanka Castillo and Angel Harwell), 7th (Morgan McGahey and Avery Bustamante) and 12th (Kaia Hanson and Emory Land).

Our JV runners also had a great day, Maddox Tomlin and Max Weshoff were the 1st place team for JV boys! Our JV trio of girls placed 2nd today, Aly Sweat, Braeley Weagle and Avery Adair.
