Running into a sweet art education team .0pearland in our community during & _htx Christmas Tree Lighting! This community event was a beautiful reminder of why art and music education matter so deeply. 🎨🎶
Watching kids light up as they created, and seeing families connect through gingerbread cookie crafts, showed exactly what these programs bring to our community: joy, confidence, curiosity, and connection. (That art piece is now a permanent decoration on our Xmas Tree!)
Art and music aren’t just “extras”—they support every kind of learning, for every age. They help us express who we are, understand others, and build the compassion and creativity that make us better people.
So grateful for spaces like this that keep creativity alive and accessible for everyone. 💛

Thank you and team for inviting me to be part of the judging panel for such an important event in our community! — Each child’s artwork is a glimpse into their world, with many sweet heartfelt reminders that we all wish to be seen, heard, and to belong! It is a beautiful blessing for me to announce the opening of my own music studio which provides Voice, Piano, Early Childhood Music Education and Singingrams! I have had the opportunity to dedicate all of my time to my music career through performance and music education for these past years. After singing with various ensembles, getting music degrees, and having a blast performing at different venues, I realized that the main thing that brings me joy out of performing, is the learning process and collaboration. I believe that EVERYONE should have this opportunity since it is one of the best feelings someone can experience, the act of unity and contribution to this world through music
I find it unfair how in the age range of 7-18, other people decide if you will become a listener or a performer of music. That line is then never to be crossed, because making a decision later in life.. would be considered “too late”. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting outstanding music mentors and teachers that share my same pedagogy philosophy who continue to teach and guide me through my professional growth. For the past years, I have been teaching all ages and sharing my passion with others. This is my true calling and it is an honor to share with others! Teaching music, learning with and from others, performing with others, bring joy to all who listens, and through COMPASSION, achieving what we humans do best... care for others.
To all my students, I give myself fully to be the teacher I never had at the beginning of my musical journey, and I hope you become that teacher to yourself and others. This way, together, we take this elitist mentality of who deserves to be a performer or listener and everyone enjoys their own personal musical journey.
The main goal is to share joy through music education and performance at all times. I welcome you and I look forward to get to sing/play with you soon!
