GRADUATION WEATHER INFORMATION
Alvin ISD is actively monitoring weather conditions throughout graduation week for ceremonies held at Freedom Field at the Alvin ISD Heritage Complex.

At this time, all graduation ceremonies remain scheduled as planned. District staff will continue monitoring weather forecasts, lightning conditions, and radar trends throughout each event.

Please note:
- Rain alone will not delay graduation ceremonies.
- Ceremonies may be temporarily delayed if lightning or threatening weather conditions are present within the monitored safety area.
- Alvin ISD has an established weather safety and delay plan in place for graduation events.

If weather delays become necessary:
- Graduates will move to designated indoor shelter areas under staff supervision.
- Guests may be asked to temporarily evacuate the stadium until conditions are safe to resume.
- Updates will be communicated through the stadium public address system and official Alvin ISD communication channels.

Families are encouraged to monitor official Alvin ISD communication platforms throughout graduation week for updates.

We appreciate your flexibility and cooperation as we work to provide a safe and memorable graduation experience for our students and families.

Prom is next week, and we want to remind all junior and senior families that tickets are currently on sale for $120. Students may purchase tickets during all three lunches by the learning stairs.

In order to purchase a ticket, students must have a completed prom contract with all required signatures, including their assistant principal, Mrs. Williams in the front office, and a parent or guardian.

The final day to purchase tickets is Thursday, April 23. Please note that tickets will not be sold at the door.

Today is the LAST DAY to buy prom tickets at the original price. Students must have their prom contract filled out before they are able to purchase their ticket.

We will be near the learning stairs during all 3 lunches today.
