💎The biggest compliment I receive is when my clients refer friends and family to me. I’m especially proud of this trust and respect I’ve earned when a client brings their child to me for my help and guidance. 👌🏾🙏🏾

💎 Massaging the skin is key to improving skin health. It is by far one of my favorite parts of my treatments. 🥰 I prefer a rhythmic & vigorous massage technique because I have a limited time with each client and this is a quick and extremely effective way to wake sluggish skin up! 👌🏾

Hey RN Friend!

💎 Can I tell you the minute I was confident in my nursing skills with regard to time management, critical thinking skills and my ability to use this to care for my patients with confidence, I was planning an exit!! 😩😩🤷🏾‍♀️ I was like “I AIN’T retiring from THIS s**t right here!!”😩🤪‼️

8 years later, I made good on that promise to myself and pivoted my nursing career as a Med/Surg nurse and opened Gleaux Aesthetics. All of the skills, knowledge and time management skills were valuable lessons that I’m able to apply to get my clients safe & consistent results and I’d LOVE to show you how!! ❤️

💎 This client has been seeing me since July & she wanted to learn how to take better care of her skin. She didn’t realize that her diet was negatively impacting her skin health. 😞 Once we were able to identify her food triggers….

she made a commitment to her body & these are the PROGRESS pics! 🤪 She received her 3rd chemical peel today & I cannot wait to see what her skin looks like in a few weeks!!!

💎 Esties, education MUST be at the center of what we do as skincare providers. Clients seek our help to change their skin & it’s important to me that I share my knowledge through education so that they will know the “why” behind what’s causing the problem.

They’ll also know the “why” behind all of the treatments that I provide & the “why” of every single product in their daily regimen. 👌🏾

💎Also, if you’re just starting off & you don’t have many photos just yet, use your education and knowledge to wow potential clients.

Use your education and knowledge to answer your client’s questions. By doing this, you’re showing your potential clients that you know your s**t and you’re solidifying to your current clients that they’ve made the right choice by choosing you as their guide.

💎 I’m so glad to be DONE with 12 hour shifts!

I “SERVED” 😩😂 6.5 years at a VERY busy academic medical center as a Medical/ Surgical nurse , most of which was on night shift! 😩 & had a prior straight out of nursing school, where I served on day shift for nearly 3 years! 😩

💎 I’m so glad that those 12s are behind me….now, as a business owner, I work 24/7! 🥴😩🥰😂 I’d rather be hustling for myself so it’s ALL good! 👌🏾

💎 Aside from the obvious regarding quality and efficacy, does it really make sense to perform a PROFESSIONAL treatment and send your clients to the local drug store to purchase daily regimen skincare products? 🤔

💎 She has been really consistent with her regimen and she’s received ONE glycolic acid chemical peel. 👌🏾
She was in this week to get her second chemical peel and while looking at OUR progress, we noticed that her scar is filling in on her cheek as well!! 💪🏾❤️

💎 Just a small snippet of me getting ready for my clients. 🥰 I LOVE having my room & bed the PERFECT temperature when my clients arrive. I want my clients to feel special, safe, welcomed and relaxed the minute they enter my treatment room! ❤️

💎I also use scents and sound healing music to help them begin to relax the second they enter my room! 🤤
I am intentional about EVERY detail in the room because it’s important to me that each & every client leaves with an AMAZING skin treatment and a feeling of TOTAL relaxation! 💆🏾‍♀️

💎 Service to others and caregiving has always been my strength! 👌🏾I know how to disarm people with my open personality & I truly care for those who seek my guidance. My treatment room vibe is a reflection of that.
