So proud of our Sablatura teams! In our inaugural competition, we had two teams compete — Sab Team 1 reigned victorious over the middle schools in an epic book battle. It came down to a one on one showdown between Sab and Alexander and both kids performed extremely well under the stress. All the teams had so much fun and we can’t wait for next year!

On Saturday, April 11, 30 of our Math Club students traveled to UTSA to compete in the TMSCA State Competition. We are incredibly proud to share that our Sablatura MS & Pearland JH West team earned 3rd Place Overall Sweepstakes 6A Team, along with:

For our final day of Celebrations, we celebrated the best part of the library — the librarians! We dressed as librarians, real or fictional, and there were so many great librarians to choose from at the school we couldn’t tell who was the real one. We love our librarian!

Libraries are full of character!! Not only do books allow for character growth, but there are so many characters to meet and people to learn about! Grizzlies dressed as book characters or genres to represent the scope of characters we meet in books!

We’re celebrating how libraries take you places! Whether you’re studying for school or using books to explore new worlds and lands, books are powerful vehicles for exploration!
