Houston’s first Telugu Maatlaata is in the books! 🏆

We are still buzzing from the energy of our very first prelims on April 18th. With several bright students showcasing their skills across all three games, the day was a beautiful celebration of our language and culture.

A massive shout-out to Kiran Garu, Pratyusha Garu, and the entire National Maatlaata team. You didn't just give us a framework; you gave us the confidence to succeed. The "top-notch" training and seamless guidance you provided made the coordination feel effortless for our Houston volunteers. We’re incredibly proud to collaborate with this dedicated national team! We can't wait for future Matlaata competitions here in Houston, and we’re excited to share our experience to help others succeed as well.

Maatlaata is a fun and enriching Telugu language competition that helps students build confidence, language skills, and cultural connection.

*Padarangam* – SpellingBee
*Tirakaatam* -Jeopardy‑style Quiz
*ONiMa* – One-minute impromptu speech

All competitions are open-book. Study materials and the MaayaaDarpanam practice app are available online.

We encourage all parents to register their children and support them in practicing for this exciting and rewarding event. Let’s make Maatlaata 2026 a memorable celebration of learning and fun!

Dear Parents - Siliconandhra Manabadi Registrations (in-person classes) are open for academic year 2024-2025 for all the levels of Manabadi for returning and new students. Classes will start on Sep 8th 2024. Please enroll your kids into the next level. This helps us plan for logistics (facilities, Teachers) effectively for next academic year. Also once enrolled, students can login into Siliconandhra Manabadi Balaranjani App (ios or android) and can get access to Manabadi content. For Prabhasam graduated students, opportunities are available as Balaguruvulu to help teachers in class rooms and can get volunteer hours.
