Nexus Futbol Academy

At Nexus, academic development matters just as much as athletic development.

This year’s CTP-5 results showed Nexus students performing strongly against national independent school benchmarks.

Proud of the growth our students continue to show both in the classroom and on the field, and excited to keep building for the future.

This past weekend, Nexus high school students traveled to San Antonio with college counselor Mr. Firat for an immersive college experience, visiting four university campuses and gaining firsthand exposure to NCAA and NAIA environments, college staff, coaches, and the expectations of the next level.

Through campus tours, coach meetings, conversations with university staff, and shared meals, students explored St. Mary’s University, University of the Incarnate Word, Trinity University, and Our Lady of the Lake University in a weekend focused on growth, opportunity, accountability, and connection.

More than a field trip, this experience gave students an early start on the college process — helping them build clarity, confidence, and direction for what comes next.

We finished finals early and sent two students off to represent on the international stage. 🇭🇷

Christopher Gonzalez and Kenzynton Pierre have been called to join the U.S. Soccer U-15 Men’s National Team in Varaždin, Croatia for the 2026 Vlatko Marković International Tournament.

A strong finish to the school year, with an opportunity earned through consistency, discipline, and daily work. We are proud of the standard they continue to set.

TEFA UPDATE ⚠️

We have an update regarding the TEFA process and Nexus Futbol Academy’s accreditation status.

TEFA award notifications are now underway as Nexus progresses through the final Cognia accreditation review. Another positive step forward for Nexus.
