As this school year comes to an end, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. 💙💛
What an absolute honor it has been to serve as President of the Northside PTSO this year. Supporting our teachers, staff, students, and school community has been one of the greatest blessings.
Yesterday , we had the opportunity to celebrate our incredible teachers with a special luncheon from Eslava’s Grill, years of service recognitions, travel backpacks, and our little “See You Later Educator” alligators that we hope travel everywhere with them this summer. ☀️✈️🐊
But more than the gifts, more than the decorations, and more than the events… what truly mattered was getting to slow down together. To sit, laugh, talk, celebrate memories, and simply enjoy one another after a long year of pouring so much love into our children every single day.
To our teachers:
Thank you will never feel like enough. Thank you for showing up every single day with patience, kindness, love, and dedication for our kids. Thank you for believing in them, encouraging them, protecting them, and helping shape who they are becoming. You are changing lives in ways you may never fully realize.
To my amazing PTSO board members, volunteers, and team:
Thank you for believing in every crazy, extra, over the top idea I brought to the table. 😂 Thank you for the late nights, early mornings, heavy lifting, decorating, organizing, serving, cleaning up, and doing it all with love. None of this could have happened without you. Every event, every meal, every surprise, every detail was possible because of your hearts to serve.
And to our families, businesses, sponsors, supporters, and every single person who helped in any way this year:
Thank you. Whether you donated, volunteered, shared a post, gave your time, supported our events, or simply encouraged us along the way you helped make this year special for our school community.
Most importantly, I hope our children are watching all of this. I hope they see adults showing up for one another. I hope they see what serving looks like. What supporting others looks like. What community looks like. What kindness, teamwork, generosity, and love look like.
Because at the end of the day, that may be one of the greatest lessons we can teach them.
This year was full of hard work, big dreams, unforgettable memories, and so much love. I will forever be thankful for every single person who was part of it.
Northside, thank you for letting me serve you this year.
