STEM Science Fun Day at Madison Avenue Upper Elementary School. Mrs Alexander and Mrs Jones are the coordinators for this fun day. This is the 18th year this event has been held.

Today we are conducting counterintuitive investigations in STEM at a Science Fun Day at Madison Crossing ES, Gluckstadt, MS. 123 fifth grade students are participating. We have 20 adult and high school students teaching the concepts. It’s fun and learning is taking place.

We are conducting a STEM Science Fun Day at Mannsdale Upper Elementary School on October 27th. 414 fourth and fifth graders will be participating. The day will be packed with different experiences. All experiences fit nicely into the MS State Framework and the Next Generation Science Standards( NGSS).

We are conducting a Science Fun Day at Gary Road Intermediate School for 5th graders. Come, see and experience the learning taking place. Ms Butterfield is the organizer of the event!

STEM Science Fun Day at Madison Station Elementary School for 160 fifth graders. Thirty parents including five men are teaching the counterintuitive activities. Students are asking questions and are trying to answer the "why" question!

STEM Science Fun Day was held at Summit Elementary School, McComb School District, Mississippi for third, fourth, and fifth graders. This is a school where students receive a free breakfast, lunch and dinner! A great time was had by all! Thank you parents and teachers for a fun time learning.

We had another great Science Fun Day (SFD) at Madison Crossing Elementary School in Madison, MS. Lisa Holland organized the event and recruited 22 adults and 34 AP biology students to teach 5th graders. A number of AP students mentioned that they participated in SFD when they were in 5th grade. We set-up 28 stations and each station was directed by an adult and an AP student. In the afternoon session each station had two students. It was a day of REAL learning! Well done!

Madison Avenue Upper Elementary School Science Fun Day for 5th graders! This is the 15th year we have conducted a SFD at this school. Thank you to Kennette Jones and Shirley Alexander for coordinating this event. Both parents and students are having a fun time learning physics together. Energy is flowing everywhere!

A Science Fun Day(STEM) was conducted for 235 fourth, fifth and sixth graders at Philadelphia Elementary School, Philadelphia, Mississippi. This fifth grader is creating a low pressure zone at the top of the clear straw he is holding in his right hand. He is blowing air through the blue and white straw. By doing this he is spraying "red" water. High pressure is pushing down on the surface of the water in the glass. Remember, water or air moves from high pressure to low pressure.
