Week 3 proved to be another fun-filled and action packed week. We are all Superheroes with special powers. Some of us used our powers to "Save the world," while others used their "Glitter Powers" to "Make the world a better place."

We ended the week with a special snack, ice cream sundaes. It was so much fun creating our own individual sundaes.

We are off to our final week of camp.

Despite the rainy weather at the beginning of the week, the campers had so much fun. From Bouncy House play to making and eating "Dirt & Worms," each day brought new crafts and adventures!

Our first week of Summer Camp was such a great one. Even with the hot weather, our campers had a blast playing outside, making crafts, enjoying stories, and singing songs together.
Today, we wrapped up the week with an extra special surprise — a visit from the fire department! The firefighters gave everyone a fantastic presentation, let the children explore the fire truck, and even helped them spray the hose. Before heading out, they cooled us all down with a refreshing spray on this very hot day. What fun it was.
And to top it all off, we ended the day with cotton candy for snack — the perfect sweet treat after an exciting morning.
What a wonderful start to Summer Camp. We can’t wait for Week 2!

This past week marked our final days of school, and we wrapped it up with Field Day and a fun‑filled Spirit Week! It was such a joy watching our students get creative and show off their personalities. Our themed days included Crazy Hair Day, Tie‑Dye Tuesday, Sports Day, and Happy Headwear Day — and everyone truly went all out.

We even had a wonderful surprise treat during the week — an Ice Cream Truck visit that brought huge smiles to every face. The excitement was contagious.

We ended Spirit Week with a festive Luau Day, with students arriving in their favorite Hawaiian outfits and accessories. The colors, the laughter, and the energy made it the perfect way to close out our school year.

We are going to miss you all. Wishing every one of our families a wonderful, relaxing summer. Enjoy every moment!

What an exciting week at Tall Pines! 🎉

Yesterday, our Chipmunk class had their Moving Up ceremony, and today, our Squirrel class celebrated their graduation! 🎓 Our Squirrels have been talking about how much they'll miss Tall Pines, but they are so excited for kindergarten—and we know they are going to do amazing things. We’ve all come a long way since the first day of school. There were definitely some tears today, but this time, it was the teachers crying, not the kids! 🥹❤️

Congratulations to all of our students! You did a fantastic job learning all of your songs for your concerts. We couldn't be prouder of everything you’ve accomplished this year! 🌟

Next week is Spirit Week at Tall Pines, and the children can't wait to participate! 🥳

Every spring life begins again. Flowers, tree, animals, and insects start the life cycle process. We read about seeds and flowers and caterpillars and butterflies to build our students knowledge about life cycles. But full understanding comes when they can see and experience it firsthand. Over the last few weeks, we raised our very own butterflies in the classroom, from tiny caterpillars to beautiful butterflies. It was a great way to see a life cycle in action. Today we said Bye-Bye Butterfly! We released our new friends to fly free. The children loved checking on them each day and seeing the life cycle happen right in front of them, watching them go from tiny caterpillars to big fat caterpillars to forming a chrysalis and finally watching them emerge as beautiful butterflies. After checking on them daily we are going to miss our butterfly friends!

Today, our 4-year old Kindergarten Enrichment class stepped into the shoes of young paleontologists! Their dinosaur egg excavation was a total sensory experience - complete with sand, slime, and rock. Making learning fun is what we at Tall Pines are all about!
