Our sixth graders had a presentation from PCHS students in the Engineering, Tech, and Design Academy earlier this week. They created a pompom launcher and tested how far each would go.

The presenters were all PCES alumni: Brandon Galano, Zachary Delapena, and Zachary Aguinaldo. It was awesome seeing them again working with our current students!

Scarlett Lewis and Patrick Kerrigan from Choose Love came to visit the teachers this afternoon! We were so happy to have them speak at our faculty meeting! Let’s not forget to always choose love. ❤️ Thank you for coordinating this for us!

We had our first STEM night last Friday. came and showed the students how to make their own constellations! Thank you to the families who joined us! We hope to see you at our next STEM night during the second semester.

The Packers lost to the Lions last Thursday so Mr. Suster had to wear a Lions jersey to school. Just goes to show that Mr. Suster always keeps his word!

Harley showed off her hula skills today during Talent Show Friday!

Thank you to everyone who donated snacks and drinks for the “Stock the Breakroom!” We truly appreciated everything! A huge mahalo to the PTO for organizing the whole event!

Mr. Minobe’s class did the Hand Jive in this morning’s Talent Show Friday. We’re looking forward to other students’ performances!

Earlier today we had an assembly honoring those who were lost on 9/11 over two decades ago. Many people including first responders, healthcare workers, and civilians lost their lives on that fateful day.

Student Council also introduced their “Coins for Courage” collection. Students are encouraged to bring any change or coins they may have to donate to a Maui elementary school.

Students can also write letters or create posters to show support and inspiration to their peers on Maui.

Kona Ice will be on campus on Friday!!!! Mark your calendars!

Wanted to remind our PCES families that students don’t have school tomorrow and Monday! Tomorrow, we have a Waiver Day and on Monday, it’s Labor Day! We hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

PCES Student Council hosted our Welcome Back Assembly this afternoon. We also had some special guests attend!

🍎CAS Richard Fajardo officially congratulated Mr. Suster on becoming our principal.

🍎Aunty Dawn and her DJ from came to get students excited about Choose Aloha beginning this school year.

It was great seeing everyone and we hope all who attended enjoyed the assembly!

Today we received official word that Mr. Suster is our permanent principal and no longer a TA! We’re so happy to have him at our school in this position. 😄 Congratulations Mr. Suster!!!!

The Pearl City Community Association (PCCA) will be having their annual school supply drive at the Pearl City Walmart. They will also be collecting monetary donations and all proceeds go back to PC schools.
