🍪🐺 Once a Wolf, always a Wolf!

We sure love when our retired teachers stop by to say hello...and when they bring treats for our staff, it makes the visit even sweeter! ❤️💛

Beverly Hale, a former Lake Hamilton Middle School teacher, recently stopped by the middle school with treats for the staff!

Thank you, Mrs. Hale, for thinking of our Wolf Pack and for continuing to be such a special part of our Lake Hamilton family! 🐾

🧠🐺 Learning about psychology straight from the professionals!

A big thank you to the psychology and mental health professionals who recently visited B. Smith’s Concurrent Psychology students at Lake Hamilton High School to share about their careers and the many pathways available within the field.

Experiences like this are what make our concurrent course offerings so valuable—students aren’t just earning college credit, they’re connecting what they learn in the classroom to real careers and future opportunities. 🎓

We love seeing our Wolves gain experiences that help prepare them for whatever comes next! ❤️💛

Advanced learning is reaching more students than ever before at Lake Hamilton! 🐺✨

Beginning in kindergarten, we’re creating more opportunities for students to be challenged, explore their strengths, and extend their learning beyond the traditional classroom experience.

Every Lake Hamilton school now has its own dedicated Advanced Learning/Gifted and Talented teacher and STREAM Lab, creating multiple pathways for students to experience enrichment and extension throughout their educational journey.

From specialized Gifted and Talented instruction to teacher-guided STREAM experiences and self-directed exploration, students have opportunities to think deeper, solve problems, create, collaborate, and apply their learning in new ways.

STREAM — Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math — allows us to provide additional challenges when students demonstrate mastery and are ready to extend their learning.

This expansion represents our continued commitment to recognizing the unique strengths of our students and providing meaningful opportunities for them to grow, achieve, and reach their highest potential.

At Lake Hamilton, learning has no limits. 💡🐺

🍫📊 Probability just got a little sweeter!

High school students in Debbie Hrvatin’s Quantitative Reasoning classes put probability into practice with a hands-on M&M experiment! Students collected and analyzed data while seeing how the concepts they’re learning apply in a real-world—and delicious—way. 📈

And the best part? They got to eat the data when they were finished! 😋

Learning + M&Ms = pretty good odds of a great class! 🐺❤️💛

💼🐺 What’s your personal brand?

Students in Mrs. Gaines’ high school business classes are learning that branding isn’t just for companies—we all carry a personal brand with us throughout life!

Students put that idea into action by creating and presenting their own logos, incorporating elements that represent who they are, what they value, and how they want to be represented. 🎨💡

What a great way to combine creativity, business concepts, and real-world skills!

🎂🐺 Everybody deserves a birthday shoutout!

It’s always a student favorite to add their special day to the Birthday Wall in Coach Frye’s middle school classroom! 🎉

With everyone’s birthday on display, there’s no chance of missing an opportunity to celebrate—and, of course, sing “Happy Birthday!” 🎶🥳

It’s the little traditions that help make our classrooms feel like family! ❤️💛

At Lake Hamilton, every student deserves to feel safe, respected, supported, and like they belong. 🐺💛

Our Pack unites against bullying. While not every disagreement or hurtful interaction meets the definition of bullying, inappropriate behavior toward others is never acceptable, and we want students and families to know how to report concerns.

There are three ways to formally report bullying or inappropriate behavior:

📱 Use the See Something, Say Something Tip Line
💻 Complete the Online Bullying Report Form
📝 Pick up a paper Bullying Report Form at any school front office

Students and families may also contact their school office or the Lake Hamilton School District Administration Office for assistance.

All concerns are taken seriously, reports are investigated, and appropriate action is taken.

🔗 Learn more about bullying prevention, reporting options, and how to submit a concern:

Together, we can look out for one another, speak up, and ensure Lake Hamilton remains a safe and welcoming place for every student.

🧠🐺 Our brains are AMAZING!

Mrs. Murders’ 4th-grade future scientists put their brains to the test with some fun, hands-on experiments exploring how the brain receives, processes, and reacts to information!

👀 Optical illusions tested how their brains interpret what their eyes see.
🌈 The Stroop Test challenged students when words and colors didn’t quite match.
📏 A ruler reaction test showed just how quickly the brain can process information and tell the body to respond.

Science is a lot more fun when you get to experience it firsthand! ⚡🧠🔬
