Early Ed with Meg Pre-K through Grade 4 Private Tutoring. Building confidence through engaging and personalized lessons

12/09/2025

As a former teacher and now a mom to 3, I promise you:

Kids often try harder for people who aren’t their parents.

If with your child feels harder than it “should,” it doesn’t mean you are doing anything wrong.

Your child feels safe with you to push back, question, and vent their frustrations.

Learning at home hits differently. 💛

This is why I work with families through homeschool support and tutoring (virtual or limited in-person slots). If you’d like to chat more, DM me to@book a 15-minute meet and greet call.

If you’ve ever wondered what the very first tutoring session looks like… it’s calm, simple, and all about connection.

No pressure. No drills.

Just me getting to know your child and building a plan that fits them!

👋 Hi everyone! I’m Meghan — mom of three, former elementary teacher, and the tutor behind Early Ed with Meg. After a little hiatus,I’m excited to officially reopen my tutoring services!

If we haven’t met yet: I’m a certified teacher with experience in Pre-K through 4th grade, and I specialize in early literacy, writing, and school readiness. I love helping children build confidence, spark curiosity, and develop strong skills that set them up for success in school and in life.

Over the years (and through raising my own little learners!), I’ve learned how important it is for young kids to feel supported, encouraged, and understood. My approach is gentle, structured, and tailored to each child’s needs — whether they need help catching up, staying on track, or being challenged.

🌱 Who I Support
I work with Pre-K through 4th graders who may:
⭐️Need support in early reading skills
⭐️Benefit from focused help in writing or handwriting
⭐️Thrive with a calm, patient, 1:1 learning environment
⭐️Need a little extra confidence boost academically

💻 How Sessions Work

⭐️I offer both online tutoring and limited availability for local families.
⭐️Sessions are 30 or 50 minutes, depending on what works best for your child.
⭐️The first step is a free Meet & Greet to talk about your goals and see if we’re a good fit.

If you’re looking for support this season or want to learn more, feel free to message me or book your free Meet & Greet.

Comment ✨PLAN✨ and I’ll send you a week of pre-planned week of activities so you can uncover more learning moments in your days with less Pinterest scrolling.

And also? This post is to remind you that what you do everyday likely includes a ton of learning 😉.

I’ve been sticking with this approach for years and it doesn’t fail me. It really takes the pressure off - not activity is a total hit and I avoid getting “attached” to any specific outcomes.

Let me know in the comments if you are going to give it a try!

To be honest…

I was pretty nervous about the transition from preschool to kindergarten- even though Inwas a former kindergarten teacher!

I knew my daughter could handle it academically- but there is a lot more to it than that!

✅ Comment KINDERGARTEN and I’ll teach you how to the same steps I took to get our home and emotions prepped for kindergarten. 🫶
