break down concepts into kid-friendly words and actions to help students understand what is being asked. We go back to basics to give students the foundation needed for future academic growth. Learning is fostered and not forced, giving students a chance to catch up while working at their own pace. The mentoring piece of our program aides in the development of a bond between the educator and the s

tudent. Giving a struggling student a voice is very important. As the adult in charge, joining the conversation while being open and empathetic is equally significant. This builds a communication bridge that encourages students to share their concerns, struggles and ideas. Let M.E. help your child unlock their potential and build the morale necessary for them to raise their hand and say, “ME!”

Motivational Educators is the brain child of RaQia Lowo. RaQia has been in the education field for over fifteen years, ten of which was within the public-school system. RaQia Lowo has experience working with ADD/ADHD, ASD LEVEL 4, and EBD students. In the early years of her education career, RaQia worked with Preschool students and taught academic concepts through play. Upon entering the K-12 arena she became disheartened at the fact that children as young as 5 years old were expected to drop their innate ability to process knowledge, for a more rigorous pen to paper approach. Realizing that motivation is key, RaQia created a variety of after-school clubs, including drama, cooking, art, and dance to boost the student confidence. RaQia was a part of the school-wide motivational program where she was the mentoring chair for at-risk students and created the persona Lady Lo. The name Motivational Educators comes from realizing what is key to reaching students, and knowing that there are educators everywhere with the desire to do whatever it takes… even if that means a song and dance. Motivational Educators... We make you want to raise your hand! "I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel, I just want to fix the flat."
