MYSO Atlanta is committed to giving back to the community and to our students.

In collaboration with Georgia State University School of Music, we will be giving a FREE All-State Preparation workshop on Sunday, Sept. 27 from 1:45pm-2:45pm. Faculty members from Georgia State will be in attendance to help all students with their all-state preparations.

-This is a used Powell Sonare PS-905 Silver Open Hole Flute with B foot in great condition. Body is sterling silver tubing, Gizmo key, offset G, Sterling silver Powell signature headjoint with Aurumite (bonded silver-gold) 9K lip plate, crown, and barrel. Hand-finished professional mechanism at Powell's workshop in Maynard, MA. All the pads are in great condition.Ā

What a wonderful time yesterday playing some amazing Italian composers for our Flauti and Focaccia Recital. It was a perfect combination of music, friendship and music. Thank you to all who came out to support. We canā€™t wait to do it again. šŸŽ¶ā¤ļøšŸ‡®šŸ‡¹

Yesterday, we were thrilled to get a visit from long time flute student of Jeanne Carereā€™s, Lyla Bingaman. Lyla is going into her Junior Year at UGA as a Biochem Major. Lyla has worked so hard and has been awarded the honor of being one of the esteemed Drum Majors for the UGA Redcoat Marching Band. We can wait to watch you do your thing, Lyla. We are so very proud of you! Go Dawgs! Go Band! And Go Lyla!
