The first of our three values here at Phi Mu is LOVE! 💌🫶💕🌷
Love in Phi Mu means treating others with compassion, respect, and kindness. It means accepting everyone for who they are and building a strong, supportive community where every sister feels valued.
Here to share what our value of love means to her is Maddi Schaefer, Fall PC ‘24!
“Since joining Phi Mu through formal recruitment in 2024, I’ve been surrounded by constant love, encouragement, and support. The friendships and connections I’ve built within this sisterhood and the FSL community have become some of the most meaningful relationships in my life. Throughout every challenge and celebration, I’ve always had a community of wonderful women by my side who genuinely care about me and remind me that I will never be alone. Being a part of Phi Mu has shown me what unconditional love truly looks like and has completely changed the way I view friendship and community.
We see the value of love within Phi Mu and the Panhellenic community extend far beyond our creed. It’s reflected in the events we participate in, the interactions we have with those around us, and the countless opportunities for friendships we have been given. I truly believe I’ve met some of my future bridesmaids, lifelong best friends, and forever sisters through this organization. Phi Mu has given me a home away from home and relationships that will continue to positively affect my life long after graduation. Every day, I find another reason to be grateful for this sisterhood and the love that makes it so special.
This sisterhood has given me so much to love: a best friend I love so deeply, a big I can always talk to, a Pham I’ve loved watching grow, role models who help shape me into the person I aspire to be, both academically and personally, and sisters who will be my friends for life. LIOB. 🩷”
