This past Saturday, one of my *groovy* customers came to the market at the very end.
I had already put my lemon press away, but his whimsical shirt put me in a whimsical mood so I gave him a lemon to take home with him.
He put the lemon in his pocket.
And just like that, this small moment turned into a fabulous piece of artwork and a lifetime memory.
Once again, my humble lemonade business surprises and fulfills me with the people I meet and the relationships I make.
It’s funny how something so simple, a lemon in a pocket, makes my heart full.
But I’ve come to know by now that lemonade has become much more than just lemons.
Thank you all for making that happen for me. 💛
See you Saturday at the Senoia Farmer’s Market.

🍋 A Little Lemonverse Update
One thing I’ve been learning this year is the difference between a good idea and a good idea for right now.
The mobile lemonade bar has been one of my favorite projects. I loved creating it, dreaming about it, and serving at the events I did.
But after a lot of thought, I’ve decided to take it off my plate for the rest of this year.
Not because it failed.
Not because I don’t believe in it.
Simply because I’m paying attention to my energy.
Running Limonista, raising kids, managing a household, and trying to be a reasonably functional human turns out to be enough for one season.
So for now, I’m focusing on the parts of Limonista that light me up most:
🍋 Making lemonade
🍋 Seeing customers at the market
🍋 Telling stories
🍋 Creating small moments of joy
The mobile bar may come back someday.
But right now, simplifying feels like the right move.
Sometimes growth isn’t adding more.
Sometimes growth is getting clear about what matters most.
Thanks for following along in the Lemonverse. 💛

Looking for nostalgia? Come get some lemonade this Saturday at Senoia Market.
You won’t get the sugar blob at the bottom of the cup. Promise.
Just the perfect mix of sweet and sour infused directly onto your taste buds.
Oh - and there may or may not be a disco ball nearby just because. 🪩 😉🛼

Cinco De Mayo in Senoia, GA. Last night.
First event of its kind there. Won’t be the last.
• Lemonade
• Agua Fresca (cucumber + lime)
• Horchata
Never thought lemonade would pave the way for this type of event for me. Thanks to Serrano Fine Tacos for inviting me.
Reflection 🪞
Lemonade has pushed the boundaries of my creativity, self reliance, organization skills, and confidence.
I’ve met so many people who I call friends now. Just from lemonade.
It was a strange phenomenon to cross the “halfway” point of life when I turned 50.
Admittedly, I didn’t know what to look forward to or how I could contribute - not only to my own peace of mind/soul but also to the well being of my family and others.
Turns out lemonade fills the well for me. While it’s super hard work and extremely tiring, the friendships I’ve made, the financial contributions it has allowed toward my family and home (albeit humble), and the quiet confidence I’ve learned in running my own business (still learning) has given me purpose.
Life continues to surprise me. How about you?

🍋 Teachers spend their days pouring into tiny humans, so yesterday felt extra sweet.
We had the honor of providing fresh lemonade for Teacher Appreciation Week at Primrose Schools in Peachtree City, and let me tell you… the energy in that room was sunshine in human form. ☀️📚
Real lemons. Clean ingredients. A little midday joy for the people who wipe tears, teach patience, tie shoes, and somehow still remember whose water bottle belongs to who. 🫶
Thank you to the amazing staff at Primrose for letting Limonista be part of your celebration. We loved serving you. 💛
