Music at Georgia Academy of Dance and the Performing Arts

Congratulations!!! Alexandra Lin won her second trophy for NFMC Festival this year! Six years of Superior scores! Beatrice and Madel Khumbah won their first trophy for three years of Superior scores. Camden Wenstrom also won his first trophy this year for three years of Superior scores. These trophies represent YEARS of discipline and dedication. I am profoundly grateful to be their teacher.

Congratulations!!! Emilie Chan, Justin Chan, Evan Westafer, and Jessie Zhu represented GAD Music at the CFMTA 2026 Honors Recital. There were twenty students performing in total. Participants were limited to 7th grade and above only, GMTA State Auditions award recipients and NFMC Artistry Award winners. It was an amazing recital full of memorable performances!

Congratulations!!! All four GAD Music Students who attended the 2026 GMTA State Auditions received Honorable Mention placing them among the top pianists in the State of Georgia. They all put forth an incredible effort. They continue to honor us with their dedication and discipline. Thank you!!!

The GAD Music Program has EIGHT graduating seniors this year, ALL of them moving onward and upward to UGA, Georgia Tech, Emory, and other prestigious universities throughout the southeast.

Several GAD Music students and alumni will be performing for the 2026 Kiwanis Talent Showcase tonight at 6pm at Peachtree City Christian Church at 500 Kedron Dr. There will be some jaw dropping performances. Please attend if you're able. There is a $10 donation request per family. It will be well worth it!

Congratulations to GAD Music student Evan Westafer!!! Evan was selected as an Excellence in Artistry Award recipient at our 2026 NFMC Festival. We are most fortunate to have the opportunity to work with such a talented young man!
