A Whale of an Experience! 🐋

Thanks to support from our PEF Grants program, South Elementary’s 3rd graders got an unforgettable science adventure with The Whalemobile! Students stepped inside a life-sized inflatable whale, explored whale anatomy, learned about adaptations, and participated in hands-on, NGSS-aligned lessons, all bringing ocean science to life right in their gym.

We’re proud to support programs that spark curiosity and connect students to the wonders of our natural world! 🌊✨

Big news for Peabody Public Schools! 🌟

We’re thrilled to announce that the Peabody Education Foundation, with generous funding from North Shore Bank, is bringing the Wayfinder program to all Peabody Public Schools as part of our ongoing Mental Wellness Initiative! Thanks to a $30,000 donation, students across the district will now have access to a powerful PreK–12 curriculum designed to support their mental health and overall well-being.

Through the collaborative work of Peabody PROMISE, parents, staff, and community members identified Wayfinder as the program that best meets the needs of our students.

✨ With Wayfinder, students will gain skills to:

✅Build a sense of belonging and community
✅Develop self-confidence and emotional intelligence
✅Strengthen communication and conflict resolution
✅Learn strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and social challenges
✅ Grow as leaders, both in school and beyond

This initiative wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of North Shore Bank, whose donation reflects a shared commitment to the health, success, and future of Peabody’s youth. Together, we’re investing in a stronger, more connected community.
