Before we kickoff off the regular season Aug 28th at home against McCall, Payette Football would like to extend a huge THANK YOU for the incredible support from the community members for showing up to the BBQ “Meet and Greet”. It was a great opportunity to meet our players before the season starts and have some fun on the practice field during our Youth Football Camp.
A special thank you to my coaching staff who helped make our Youth Football Camp such an amazing experience!! Seeing future Pirates out on the field learning the game, competing, having fun, and spending time with our high school players and coaches is what building a program is all about.
Our program isn't just about this season but about building the future of Payette Football. We hope every kid who came to camp left excited about football and dreaming about the day they get to put on a PIRATES jersey. The support you continue to show our players and program means more than you know.
We are working to build something our school and community can be proud of. This takes commitment from our players and coaches, but it also takes a community willing to stand behind them.

Today is the first last day for PHS class of 2027. They kicked off the day just right with senior sunrise and parking lot party.

Payette High School Announces Inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame Class

Payette High School is proud to announce the inaugural class of the Payette High School Athletic Hall of Fame, honoring alumni whose achievements in athletics — and in life beyond it — reflect the pride, perseverance, and excellence of the Pirate tradition. The first ten inductees will be formally recognized at an induction ceremony in September 2026.
The inaugural class spans six decades of Pirate athletics and includes state champions, collegiate record holders, professional athletes, a decorated combat aviator, and a nationally recognized entertainer and entrepreneur. The inaugural inductees include:
James L. Davis, DMD — Class of 1953
Harmon Killebrew — Class of 1954
Kenneth L. Tams — Class of 1967
Scott Masingill — Class of 1969
Mark Heleker — Class of 1975
Sarah Schroeder-Matzkin — Class of 1987
Rochelle Hair — Class of 1992
