Dear Payette Academy Students, Families, and Community,
I am excited and honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Payette Academy. As we prepare for a new school year, I look forward to getting to know our students, families, staff, and community and becoming part of this incredible school.
As a lifelong Idahoan, I have dedicated my career to serving students and families in communities across our state. For more than a decade, I have worked in education, and for the past five years I have served in a leadership role at an alternative high school. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to building strong relationships and helping every student feel supported, valued, and capable of success.
Alternative education holds a special place in my heart because every student has a unique story and tremendous potential. I believe our role is to meet students where they are, celebrate their growth, and help them build a successful future. I also believe the strongest schools are built through partnerships between families, educators, and the community.
As I begin this journey at Payette Academy, my first priority is listening, learning, and building relationships. I'm excited to learn what makes Payette Academy special while building on the great work already happening here.
I look forward to welcoming students back soon and partnering with you for a successful school year. Thank you for welcoming me into the Payette Academy family.

Hello, Payette Academy families!
I'd like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Chelsie Gorseth, and I am excited to be joining the Payette Academy team as your Dean of Students and Science Teacher this school year.
I have been in education for the past 13 years, serving in a variety of roles, including Agriculture Education Teacher, Middle School Science Teacher, and Dean of Students. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping students grow academically, socially, and personally while building positive relationships with families and the school community.
I am truly excited to become part of the Payette Academy family and look forward to getting to know our students, parents, and staff. Together, I know we can make this a fantastic school year filled with learning, growth, and success.
I can't wait to meet everyone and get started. Here's to an amazing year at Payette Academy!
