PHS Class Member Russ Fales’ wife Tammy took a horrible fall down the stairs and has been in OHSU hospital now for 4 week. Tammy is unresponsive after multiple surgeries. A portion of her skull has been removed to brain swelling. She is also being treated for a fractured spine, pneumonia and meningitis. Because of these infections her white blood cell count is elevated and is causing her recovery to go in the wrong direction. Family members have been with her from the beginning as Tammy’s doctors feel that hearing their voices will aid in her recovery. The above statements were taken from the Go Fund Me Page that has been set up by Nick Fultz. We have reached out to a family member who says that Tammy is making progress, however she has a long way to go. Russ does not know about this post.
If you are so moved to reach out to Russ you can private message, Diane Porter Sherer and I will give you Russ’ address. My husband and I personally do not give to Go Fund Me projects as the organization takes a percentage of the funds raised. If you reach out to Russ you might just want to slip a little check or money order in with your thoughts and prayers.

Hug your loved one a little tighter and tell them that you love them…..you never know when something like this may happen.
