Questions: 1. How many times did the AntiNicene (writings up to A.D. 325) Fathers use the word DISPENSATION? 2. They wrote extensively on Eschatology, what was their consistent view of Israel? Rome? the AntiChrist? Etc.? If these questions cannot be answered then one should be careful about stating WHEN Dispensational views began, and WHO wrote about that view (and it certainly wasn't Darby). Hendrickson Publishing has a 10 Volume set so one can read everything written by Christians up to A.D. 325. Those who have read these (and there are some men and women who have), should be listened to so the mistakes being made today concerning the Who, What, When, Where and Why might be avoided (like falsely citing Darby - a common error). The AnteNicene Fathers cite plenty of Scripture correctly to justify their commonly held views. The Reformed View might actually need to be Reformed to line up with the AnteNicene Church. There are good men in both Camps and Christianity should never be afraid of Two or Three Witnesses who have actually read The AnteNicene Fathers. The Witness of the AnteNicene Fathers is a credible witness for us today.
